Tour GoldenEye

Writer,Ian Fleming the man behind the fictitious spy agent  James Bond 007 and the inventor of  The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang mobile, spent much of his time writing at his estate in Oracebassa, Jamaica. Fleming named his estate Golden Eye after a World War II mission in which he was involved, and went on to write 12 novels from  Golden Eye.
Fifteen acres of lush tropical landscape and  private beaches make this a fantasy island dream come true..Golden Eye under went renovations in 2007 and reopened in 2010 and has been named one of the top luxury hotels by Travel and Leisure in 2011. While I have never been a huge fan of The James Bond series, I am a huge fan of this beautiful resort with it's villas, beach cottages and lagoon suites, check it out!

Love this!!

We lived in Port Maria in the 70's and had dear friends in Oracabessa. Your post brought back some wonderful memories of that time.
